Objective

Improve content and outreach for the ZTA Charleston Alumnae chapter to drive event attendance and increase membership numbers locally.


Zeta Tau Alpha is a national Fraternity with collegiate and alumnae chapters. Brand direction is created at a National level, but is the responsibility of local chapters to execute on the brand and create engaging content to drive membership.

My biggest focus was creating more eye catching, engaging content that stood out and reminded local followers of the fact the chapter existed and that they should attend events. I also wanted to better integrate the brand guide from Zeta Tau Alpha Nationals so that it was very clear to viewers it was localized ZTA content. Utilizing canva I was able to create popular reusable templates for the group to use for different events and engagements. After this I focused on more means of outreach, by implementing a month newsletter that was also consistent on brand and reached sisters who may not be on social media. I also shared and pinned this at the top of our private Facebook Group, which drove more subscribers as new sisters joined the group.

Ultimately this content drove more online engagement and maintained membership numbers, in a period when many sorority chapters and alumnae chapters are losing members nationally.
